" I have a passion for drawing, perspective, colour and pattern through the diversity of print media, enjoying challenges and the surprises each process provides along the way.  My work explores various printing techniques such as etching/ aquatint, screen printing, linocut, wood engraving and monotype.  My printmaking practice reflects my experiences and observations and is therefore influenced by my background in the North of England.

I use the figure in many works, individuals carrying out everyday activities.  Recent reflection on beach life, family and cafe cultures are areas I intend to focus on upon the coming year.  I aim to imply that the individuals depicted experience a quality of life that may not, on first impressions, be apparent."
